European Entrepreneurship & Innovation @ Stanford Engineering (ME421)

Session One of Stanford Engineering's 'European Entrepreneurship' 2018 speaker series features Sweden's leading startup in the autonomous freight transportation sector. Einride‘s T-pod is the first transport vehicle designed and developed for self-driving electric propulsion. A former Volvo executive based out of Gothenburg, CEO and Founder Robert Falck is a global thought leader in re-imagining the worldwide trucking and logistics industry. Einride’s mission is to be a major contributor to a sustainable society by lowering the carbon dioxide emissions of the transport industry. The discussion will also touch upon the current state of Europe's autonomous vehicle sector, as well as the status of Sweden's startup ecosystem.
