Prof. Sindy Tang was awarded the NSF CAREER Award. Her group will be studying transport pheonomena in concentrated emulsions for applications in dorplet microfluidics. The targeted broader impacts include accelerated screening of antibiotics, which may support patient-specific treatments, and after-school program for K-12 students.
